So, from the looks of it things are moving at a very fast pace!
Tuesday they dug the lot.
Wednesday they poured the footers.
Thursday They formed and poured the foundation walls.
I assumed I'd get there and the forms would be up today, but I definitely didn't expect the concrete to have been poured already!
I spoke with the PM yesterday and we discussed a few things.
#1 - My company was finally fully approved to do the low voltage pre-wire inside the home.
#2 - The gas line is essentially a disappointment. The meter has to go on the side at the northwest corner 3' in from the front. It will need to enter into the garage. He agreed to have me out after framing starts to meet with the mechanical contractor to discuss the path of the pipe. I have some ideas here that should make this work.
#3 - Because of our rear garage door, he did not go as deep with the foundation as initially planned. With the initial height, the base of the garage door would have been too low and grading would have lead water towards the house. The house is now being built 8" higher than originally planned. He wanted to ensure he communicated this as he had previously told us that our driveway height/slope would be the same as the neighbors and now it will be a bit higher. No worries from me on this!
Without further adieu, here are some pictures. Ignore anything that looks like a ripple in the panoramic shots - they are the stitching points from my phone's camera.

Shot from Kari's house. This was in the morning today. Looks like they were laying down some stone. The footers were already complete. Concrete forms were inside the truck in the foreground.
