Garage door location. What are those cutouts on the side walls for? |
On our weekly call, our PM let us know that early next week they will be back-filling the site then awaiting the lumber delivery to start framing.
He hasn't given a time frame, but my best guess so far is that once we start framing we'll be in that phase for around 10 work days due to the size of the home (based on what I've read on other blogs).
I didn't take pictures of it, but the development is really starting to clean up! Many of the completed houses have now received some topsoil and some have been hydroseeded. The model got new sod and all around it received new soil and seed.
We stopped in today and gave our SR a gift for his birthday and noticed that the map on the wall is filling quickly. He discussed that the start schedule has a couple houses on it each week through mid June, so we'll see lots of action in the community over the summer!
We had smaller cutouts on the side that they used to support the metal beams. You have similar ones in the basement portion of the house. But the ones in the last picture are pretty low, and that looks like it's in your garage, so I really have no clue. I'll be interested to see what they do use them for.
ReplyDeleteLooks great! Congratulations on your start ... you'll be amazed how fast it goes! We've been notified that our exterior is complete and all interior trim is complete. My husband is stopping by to take pics for us today!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your new pics!
