Roof Trussing and Sheathing

Stopped by today and had a conversation with our neighbor Bill.  He's been great and we're looking forward to being neighbors!

Our framing is nearly complete.  Based on the pace these guys are going and the amount of time left in the day, I assume that tonight they will have the remaining gable (over the garage) in place and the sheathing completed over the garage (the right side of the house was already done by the time I drove away).

Roof trusses are up and the main roof is sheathed.

From Bill's yard we saw the guys sheathe the lower roof line in the back.

Closer shot of the front.

We watched them drive the remaining garage gable across the street.  Thought we might get to see it get put up but no such luck.

They put it down in the driveway right after bringing it over.

Then went back to sheathing the lower roof.  This sheathing was complete by the time I drove away.

    1. Thanks! We're looking forward to seeing more of your pictures as well!

I spoke with the SR today and he said the Bateman at Tuscany Hills is opening closer to June 8/9 at this point due to some excavation issues in the development. As soon as it is open we'll be making a trek out there and checking it out in person!

We've got a good feel for what our house is now that we can see it, but that walk through will certainly help.
